Began career at Grand Medical College and  J.J.Hospital for undergraduate and post graduate training and then worked in Tata Memorial Hospital and Hinduja Hospital Gastroenterology Department. Later he got trained in Hepatology and Liver transplant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Bermingham, U.K. At Hinduja Hospital he has performed more than 15,000 Endoscopies (Diagnostic and therapeutic such as Sclerotherapy, Band Ligation and glue injection for bleeding varices, Foreign body extraction, Laser ablation

or tumour, Alcohol injection of tumour, Balloon Dilation of Structure or Pyloric stenosis & Endoprosthesis placement) Diagnostic & Therapeutic ERCP (eg. Sphincterotomy, stone extraction, plastic and metal stent placement, mechanical lithotripsy) pH manometry for UGI studies are also regularly performed.

In future Endosonography or capsule Endocopy, breath analysis for malabsorption, H.Pylori, ultra thin endoscopy on OPD basis without sedation are areas of interest.
